Q. Do I have to join the Patterson Park Civic Association if I live in Patterson Park?
A. You don’t have to, but we hope you’ll want to join to support your neighborhood! The Civic Association is a non-profit organization made up of Patterson Park residents who volunteer their time to keep Patterson Park a great place to live! With help and support from many other Patterson Park volunteers, the 15-member Civic Association Board of Trustees plans and carries out neighborhood improvement projects and fun activities for residents. Your membership dues of just $12 per year per household help us beautify the neighborhood and conduct community events, such as the annual picnic, the BIG June garage sale, the scarecrow contest, and luminary night. We couldn’t do what we do without your active financial and volunteer support.
Membership is open to any Patterson Park resident. To join, just send us an email at email@example.com, and we’ll get back to you with details. You can also join at any of the quarterly community meetings, held in February, May, August, and October. A membership enrollment form is also included in our paper newsletters, which are distributed several times a year to all households.
