Donations can be dropped off on Saturday, December 2, 2017 between 10a-2p at 831 Buckingham Road. Contact Andrew by phone (937-533-7757) or email ( to make other arrangements. Fall Beautification Awards

The Patterson Park Civic Association is proud to announce the winners of the Fall Beautification Awards. The awards were given based on landscaping, gardens, upkeep, and/or overall curb appeal. This season, we made a special effort to recognize homes that had not previously won an award.

Heidi Longaberger, Fall Beautification Awards Winner.
Mary Hofacker, Fall Beautification Award Winner.
Jeff & Lin Gutridge, Fall Beautification Awards Winner.
Matt & Mary-Kate Sableski, Fall Beautification Awards Winner.
Mark & Judy Curtner, Fall Beautification Awards Winner.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all who participated. In 2018, look for awards to be distributed in Spring and late Summer.

Join us for the annual Patterson Park Neighborhood Picnic!

The annual Patterson Park Neighborhood Picnic will take place on Saturday, August 5 from 11:30 – 3:30 at Jane Newcom Park.

Come meet your Patterson Park neighbors while enjoying food and drinks, games for the kids, raffle prizes, a General Meeting of the Neighborhood Association to elect new Trustees and Officers, a presentation from the Dayton Police Department and more!

We could use your help to ensure the success of the event.  Here’s what we need:

  • Raffle Prizes (as you can never have enough!)
  • Volunteers to help set up and break down the event (8 am at Shroyer Park Church to load up tables and chairs or 9 am at Jane Newcom Park to set up)

If you are able to volunteer, or make a donation, please contact Pat Cauley at 305-4134!

Interested in Participating in a Playgroup?

Summer is here, school is out and the kids are probably looking for something to do. How about giving them the opportunity to meet, and play, with other kids in the Patterson Park neighborhood? We have people who are looking to put together regular play dates at Jane Newcom Park. Have an interest? Send an email with your contact information to and we’ll be in touch!
